Meet Johna

Real estate allows me to help people in a happy and exciting way. I love getting to know my clients, assisting them in their needs and ultimately helping them determine where they would like to put down roots. I have over 8 years of real estate experience and 7 years in relocation, working with executives in various companies in the area as well as locals wanting to downsize or move out of state. I work well with people of all different backgrounds and ages as I grew up in the military and spent my childhood living abroad and meeting people from around the world.

Before joining John L. Scott, I worked as both a transaction manager and office manager for a real estate firm, before ultimately working as a licensed Realtor. Additionally, I was as a content writer/developer for a Bellevue based company and a social worker for Child Protective Services. These experiences enabled me to become a knowledgeable and empathetic real estate expert. I ask a lot of questions, am incredibly detail orientated and am always available when my clients need me. I like to find out what they are looking for in a home - what has worked for them in past homes, or alternatively, what they would change.

Expertise in understanding real estate trends and using that knowledge to meet my client’s needs in all ways is what I do. I thrive in negotiation and commit to having my client’s best interest in mind. They always have all the information in front of them to make the best decision for themselves, or their family. I have sold single family homes, condos, townhomes, land and even assisted clients with getting into rentals. For sellers there are so many tools that can be used when listing their home. Social media is key – using videos and online marketing to showcase my clients home, present it to a wide audience and get people walking through the door. From an email campaign to postcards to the physical open house, people are genuinely curious about real estate and where they should invest.

My family and I love all the things the PNW is known for and spend a lot of our free time outside. All 3 of my children play sports, so we find ourselves on the sidelines often. I also really enjoy visiting dog parks, walks, social events with friends and family (and so many past clients!). I am a healthy food advocate and am active in the community - mostly through the school districts for my children. When the weather is nice, we love to hike, kayak and paddle board.

I love what I do, and my clients can often feel that!! I look forward to continuing to grow my business and meeting many more amazing people along the way!
